Church Family Support Fund

Following recent world events and the unprecedented economic hardship they have caused, we are in a position in the Godalming community to know of some quite profound need.

The Church Family Support Fund can consider applications for those living in the Godalming and Hambledon area, as funds allow. [See more info on CFSF…]

We’re asking for help to look out for people in real financial need. We are also wanting to allow more people to give.

About CFSF

The Church Family Support Fund has existed for more than 30 years and was formed to offer love and care financially to individuals and families during times of hardship. We have achieved this by making small financial gifts quietly.

The CFSF is a confidential restricted fund of Busbridge PCC. We are part of the church. In the past donations to the fund have largely come from church members. The CFSF Stewards do not share information with the church trustees regarding details of our activities such as who receives funds or gives donations, nor the breakdown of amounts given to individuals. We preserve confidentially and abide by Charity Commission rules.

We don’t take applications from people for themselves or members of their families.

If you need help, please find someone to recommend you who meets one of the following criteria:
·         They are known to be an official in the local Godalming/Hambledon community (eg Police, Town, Parish or Waverley Council, GP known to us, Headteacher known to us)
·         You know they are connected to and known by Busbridge&Hambledon Church and this person knows you.
